VILUMA food is designed for strategic acquisition by a Tier 1 ingredient or food technology company that needs to own a GFSI-certified organic whole pulse platform rather than source from one. The platform gives an acquirer a configured extrusion process with 12–18 month lead time to replicate, a Baltic organic supply chain in active development, Black Badger™ with confirmed pilot batch ready for commercial launch, and a B2B ingredient engine with active conversations ahead of supply. Acquisition price is determined by platform value — not by current revenue. The €51M pre-money is the floor, not the ceiling. The invention

Gut and metabolic health are the largest addressable health outcomes in food — because they are both preventive and curative, and because food is the only delivery mechanism that works at everyday scale.

The Evolution of Food Technology

1st Gen: Traditional — Simple, natural snacks like nuts and dried fruit.

2nd Gen: Directly Expanded — Refined flour puffs (corn curls).

The 4th generation is a different operating principle entirely. No isolates, no pellets, no refined flour—just a raw whole pulse and grain base. Using Tier 1 single-screw extrusion, we preserve the native bioactive matrix: 25–35% protein and 15–25% fibre.

THE TECHNICAL STANDARD

The "4th generation" designation is a technical standard defined by the retention of endogenous nutrients throughout manufacturing. We've moved the focus to nutritional integrity. By changing the base, we change the purpose of everyday food.

Problem 01
The base that never changed — 60 years of inert nutrition
Corn flour and potato pellet carry no protein, no fibre, no prebiotic activity. Any nutritional value on a product built from this base was applied from the outside. That is the architecture the global snack, baby food, and functional nutrition industry chose — and has defended, at enormous scale, for six decades. Nobody changed it. VILUMA food did.

The health halo — claim without proof, industrialised
A single positive attribute on a label — 'organic', 'high protein', 'plant-powered' — causes consumers to overestimate the overall nutritional value of a product. This is not a side effect of food marketing. It is the business model. VILUMA food operates differently: the nutrition is in the base. The process is the proof. The batch record is the claim.

The gut health gap — created by the food industry, filled by pharma
The snack industry was not designed to harm gut health. It was designed with no gut health consideration at all. The consumer became dependent on the taste. The gut became dependent on supplements, probiotic drinks, and pharmacy products to receive what food never delivered. The snack industry created the gap. The supplement industry monetised it. VILUMA food closes it at the source — through the food itself, by design.

There was no company operating GFSI-certified organic whole pulse extrusion with own supply chain, own consumer brands, and a B2B engine supplying the same standard to the wider food industry. Baby nutrition, sports snacks, clinical food, and bulk ingredients — all from one platform, one process, one standard. That platform is VILUMA food. And it did not exist before us.
